Gilmour Engineering is always open to hiring skilled and hard-working tradesmen/women. Our workforce consists of Project Managers/Engineers, Fabricators, Sheet Metal Workers, Painters, Improvers and Apprentices. We are able to offer our employees the opportunity to develop their skills and gain qualifications that are beneficial within their role via a variety of training and courses. Examples of the training we can offer to employees include CSCS course, Fork Truck, Mewps, Confined space, slinging/banksman, abrasive wheel training and more.
With a broad range of work being carried out within the company, everyday brings new possibilities, with much of the work we do being reactive work. Our employees work both on our main site along with working in different on-site locations. Due to the work we do on-site, specifically for companies such as BAE and Kimberly Clark, certain members of our workforce may be put through a security clearance process to be able to work in that particular area, unless they already have clearance from previous work place.
